Got an email about http://www.boutiquecycles.com/ today. Boutique Cycles is another user submitted bike gallery, but it seems the bikes need to be approved before they are posted on the site. The site looks really good and it will be interesting to see how it grows. Hopefully this means more nice bikes in one place. Some interesting bikes on there so far, check it out.
Soooo this is my first post, found this over at Lockedcog thought id bash it up. Well made and sums things that are going on at the min pretty well.

Fixed magazine
Ok, Phil set me up this account ages ago and I promised to write, so I’ll start now. Cheers Phil.
First of all, massive big-ups to the 100 milers this weekend, especially in that heat, must’ve been brutal in parts! I personally had a pretty unique off-road (downhilling for about 7 mile) with Billy, interesting to say the least… puncture fest, but awesome fun.
I’m sure everyone’s heard of, or read, Fixed magazine, but it came to my attention today talking to Ricky that a few people might be making do with the free PDF to get their fix, pun not intended.
Anyways, Sam over at Fusshop is always keeping me sweet with a copy, all you gotta do is pay postage, and it’ll be with you lickety split, complete with sweet Fusshop stickers no less. And while you’re there have a good look around, he’s got some naughty stock in. Oh, and he also has Fixed mag 2 still in stock…
The ride started off ok. 6 am, people were on time. I managed a puncture 5 minutes in but was mostly fine after that. Awesome weather all morning, few stops, and we set a good pace.
After getting some abuse from the locals in Blyth, we cycled up route 1 through Amble, Craster, Alnmouth and had lunch in Embleton.
After lunch there was some rain but it was still hot. We carried on North and my favourite part of the day was flyinging down a hill and seeing the huge Bamburgh castle appear on the horizon, the 75 mile maker.
With everyone feeling great at Bamburgh, we thought the last 24 miles would be easy. They were not. It started to get really hilly and the route took us off-road a few times.
Having said that, some of the best miles were in the last quarter. Though I think the last 10 took nearly 3 hours, arriving in Berwick felt great.
Overall, an amazing day. 3 people rode fixed, 1 single-speed, and 1 geared.
Video from last weeks alleycat in Leeds. Looks like it was a great event, will definitely be at the next one!
