Got an e-mail about this film today, it is a documentary on fixed gear culture in Paris. The riding and production looks great, got a bit of polo in there too!
Look forward to seeing the finished product.

A few months ago during a polo game, we noticed someone on top of the shopping center car park taking photos of us. Then recently we were informed that there was a photo of us in the baltic! I haven’t managed to find the physical exhibition yet, but an article with the photo is online here: http://www.balticmill.com/showusasecret/#4

Speaking of polo… We no longer play on Tuesdays as it gets dark shortly after breakfast. We may play the occasional Sunday game so check here or the forum for dates, but we are on the lookout for a floodlit or undercover court for the winter. There is a ride happening this Thursday to find one, and if you have any suggestions, leave a comment.
Had an awesome weekend in Edinburgh. Newcastle came 3rd, Glasgow 1st & 2nd, and Edinburgh 4th, 5th and 6th. Great to meet everyone and the tournament was a lot of fun. Thanks to all who organised it, hopefully we will be back up soon for another event.

We will be competing in our second bike polo tournament this weekend up in Edinburgh on the 27th September. It’s gonna be a great chance to meet some more riders and see if we have improved at all since the Cambridge Tournament!

Richard came to polo last night and took some cool photos so I thought I’d post a few up here. To see more of his photos visit his site here: http://www.richardkenworthy.co.uk/

This weekend will be Londons turn to host the EHBPC. Unfortunately the Newcastle team will not be playing in or attending the tournament, but I’m sure will be a great weekend. There will be an alleycat (polocat) on friday night and then a full day of polo with afterparty on Saturday and Sunday. Good luck to all the teams!

Got back from Cambridge last night. Such an amazing weekend and, although we didn’t win a single game of the tournament, it was close. We lost our first game 3 – 2 against Manchester (Netto Fabulous) who eventually came 3rd overall. We lost our second game after going to sudden death with a 1 – 1 draw against Cambridge (Team Cream), but this one was really close.
Thanks to everyone from Cambridge for organising, Harvey for the house, and all the teams who came and made it. Was great to meet everyone and I’m sure we will see you again soon!
The Cambridge Polo Tournament is 2 weeks today!
Can’t wait for Newcastles first ever game against other teams. Everyone get down to the courts this Tuesday at 6:30 for a game and help us practice!
